2015-2016 is the year of the Goat and we celebrated Chap Goh Meh (15th day of the Lunar New Year) with Lions and Dragons. Chap Goh Meh marks the end of the Lunar New Year celebrations and typically we will have buffet dinner, lion dance and lucky draws.

Usually in CNY, the Chinese will eat dishes that has prosperity meanings. Fish or 'yee' in Chinese homophone symbolises abundance. This symbolic dish 'yee sang' means increase in abundance. Our yee sang comprise of 6 types of vegetables of various colours and loads of salmon for more abundance! Gather a few people with chopsticks and start making a mess by mixing and tossing the yee sang. The process of making a mess is called lou hei (prosperity mixing)... the higher the toss the better. The dressing is a cocktail of sweet chili sauce, lemon juice, lime juice and orange juice.
